Grade 12 student Alyssa Vankosky capped off her amazing school career in style by showing off her amazing athleticism by capturing the bronze medal in the Pentathlon at Provincials in Medicine Hat on Saturday, June 4th. Her first event of the day started at 8:45 am with the 100m sprint. She then went to the high jump, shot put, long jump, and finally ended the day at 3 pm with the 800m race. Out of the 11 top provincial athletes that were representing their school for the women’s open Pentathlon Alyssa placed third! It was such an amazing day for her and a fantastic way for all her hard work to be recognized. A beautiful way to wrap up her strong involvement in school athletics at HRH since grade 7.
