Students at Holy Redeemer were each gifted a free tree courtesy of an amazing donation from Alberta Forestry. 300 white spruce were donated to all of the students as a part of Earth Week. Here, Science Teacher Becky Gantz and a group of grade 9 students show off their free trees that they will all plant at home in an effort to do their part to enhance the environment. "I'd to personally thank Caroline Charboneau at Alberta Forestry for setting this up," says Gantz. "Students are always looking for ways to help the environment and these trees are a hands-on way to do that."
