From May 3rd to 7th, it was Alberta Forestry Week and the students and the staff at Holy Redeemer celebrated by planting trees. Science Teacher Becky Gantz and her students arranged for all of the students to take home their very own Jack Pines to plant somewhere special. "This is our way of helping to sustain our earth for generations to come," says Gantz. "We need to send a special thanks to Caroline Charbonneau from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry for the tree donations." Here, Gantz stands next to grade 10 student Adrionna Eldridge as they hand out the trees to the HRH students.
